Situated at southwest of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo is the largest city of Brazil and one of the most populous cities in the world, with a population of 10 million.São Paulo is a multi-cultural melting pot of people from Portuguese, Italians, Germans, Turks, Africans and Arabs. Completed in 1965, Edifício Itália is a 168-meter tall, 46-story skyscraper, the tallest skyscraper in São Paulo, Brazil. Also known as the "Banespa Building", the Altino Arantes Building is an impressive skyscraper. The Banespa Tower is also one of the best-known skyscrapers of Sao Paulo. Museu de Arte features the work of the great artists from Europe. Located in the north of Praca da Se, Mercado Municipal is famous for its gigantic stained-glass windows. The Pátio de Colégio is one of the few remaining relics of old São Paulo. The Parque Tenente Siqueira Campos is planted with Atlantic rainforest vegetation. Other main attractions include The Parque da Luz , Metropolitan Cathedral and Basilica de São Bento.
