About Jiangmen in China
Jiangmen is situated in the west of the Pearl River Delta, with an area of 9,542 square kilometers and with jurisdiction over two districts-Pengjiang and Jianghai, and mandate of Xinhui, Taishan, Kaiping, Enping and Heshan: all these together are called 'Wuyi'.
Jiangmen is a famous homeland of overseas Chinese, a fine tourist city, garden like city, and a city on trial for information popularity in the country, and it has been designated as the sole one city of RISE planning on trial in China. In 2001, the GDP reached 62.359 billion yuan, ranking among the 50 strong cities in comprehensive strength in China.
