About Odense in Denmark
Located on Fyn Island in the south of Denmark, Odense is the third largest city in the country.
It is also an important industrial, commercial, educational and cultural center and a railway junction. The city's economy is mainly based on
manufacturing metal goods, motor vehicles, machinery, textiles, and food. Odense has over a thousand years history. Odense is the home to the writer Hans Christian Andersen. Today, it has a population of around 190,000 people.

Other tourist attractions include Carl Nielsen Museum, Funen Village, H. C. Andersens Hus and the Town Hall.
