About Brest in France
Lying at the western tip of Brittany peninsula on the Atlantic coast, Brest is the second largest city of Brittany in France. Its
natural harbour is a commercial seaport and one of France's most important naval ports. It has a population of about 200,000 residents. Brest has its own international airport.

Situated to the West of Brest, the Brest Fortress is a monument of the defence architicture which was built in the middle of the 19th century. The old castle with its 15th century structure offers a full view of the city. The National Navy Museum features Brest’s maritime tradition.
Located some kilometres east of the city centre, Océanopolis marine centre is a popular tourist destination where you can see a variety of interesting sea life. Other main attractions include
