About Paris in France
Located on both banks of the Seine River in north-central France, Paris is the capital and largest city of the country. It is now the centre of finance, commerce, industry, transportation, art, fashion and intellectual of France. The city of Paris is also well known as " the City of Light". Under the influence of the North Atlantic Drift, Paris has an Oceanic climate with moderate temperatures thoughout a year.
Paris has plenty of monuments and famous museums, as well as world renowned Eiffel Tower and
the Arch of Triumph. As a symbol of Paris and France, the Eiffel Tower which is the highest structure draws millions of visitor each year. The Champs Élysées is the most famous for its many celebrated streets, avenues, and boulevards. Musee d'Orsay presents a wide collection of national paintings, sculptures, art and other works produced during 1848-1914. Notre Dame de Paris is a masterpiece of French Gothic architecture.
Found within the walls of the Palais de Justice, Sainte Chapelle is the most exquisite of Paris' Gothic attractions. The Tuileries Garden and the Left bank Luxembourg Garden are two of Paris's oldest and most famous garden. Other main attractions include Parc de la Villette, the Musée du Louvre and the Chateau of Versailles.
