Situated about 190 kilometers southeast of Jakarta, Bandung is the capital city of West Java province and the third largest city in Indonesia. Being surrounded by mountain ranges, the city of Bandung has a cool climate throughout the year. Nowadays, Bandung is one of the most popular city in Indonesia for shopping and tourism. Gedung Sate (Satay Building) is the symbol of Bandung City. It was built in 1920 with art deco architecture. Now It is the office of the Governor of West java Province. The C.P.W. Schoemaker is the most famous
architect of Art Deco architectural style at that time. On Cipularang highway, you will find the great experience of across the mountain via the highest bridge in the city. There are also vast tea and coffee plantations nearby the city. Braga Street and Wastukencana street are two of the oldest streets in Bandung. In the heart of Bandung, there are the city hall and a beautiful park. Other tourist attractions include the Grand Mosque, Gedung Merdeka and Institut Teknologi.
