About Nagasaki in Japan
Located on Nagasaki Bay, at the western-tip of Japan, Nagasaki is also known as the city that was attacked by the second atomic bomb after Hiroshima in 1945 of World War II. It is a leading seaport and shipbuilding center at the mouth of the Urakami River.
It is also a popular tourist destination, which has been attracting over 5 million visitors from all over the world each year. It has a population of around over 400,000 residents. The climate of Nagasaki is temperate.
