Situated in South of the state of California, Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States with a population of around 4 million. Los Angeles, also well known as L.A., has one of the busiest ports in the United States. Los Angeles is also a center of international trade and banking, agriculture, manufacturing, communications, fashion and entertainment as well as tourism. Generally, the weather in Los Angeles is almost dry in all seasons.
Los Angeles offers a large number of theaters, musuems, performing arts including the Getty Center and Villa, the Norton Simon Museum, the Museum of Tolerance, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Los Angeles also has a lot of attractions to offer. The Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame honors the people who have made their contribution in film, music and stage with a marble star laid within the sidewalk. The famous Hollywood sign is a symbol of the city as a world leading entertainment culture center. Griffith Park with its Planetarium is located on the edge of Hollywood. Located nearby the junction of the Golden State, the LA zoo keeps over 1,600 animals, birds and reptiles in natural habitat reservation. Santa Monica is situated by the side of the Pacific Ocean about 30 minutes from downtown LA. Disneyland, located in Anaheim, is the most popular tourist attraction in Los Angeles.
There are many famous Movie studios and Television production studios around Hollywood and Burbank, which includes Warner Brothers, Paramount and Universal and so on.
